What’s a Hearing First Learning Experience?
By Hearing First Team August 31, 2017
Coming up later this year, Hearing First will launch an array of interactive online learning experiences where members of the Hearing First Communities can engage to advance their knowledge, increase their understanding and connect with fellow learners along the way. Learn more below!
At Hearing First, we're always working to increase awareness of the incredible possibilities for children who are deaf or hard of hearing to learn to listen and talk. But we realize just being aware is not enough. Families and professionals need to learn new information and skills to know what they need to do to make this possibility a reality. To help accomplish this, we created Hearing First communities that act as online connection points for families and professionals to share, grow and learn on their LSL journey, and are now creating learning experiences to provide education in essential knowledge and skills.
Through an array of interactive online learning experiences, members of the Hearing First Communities can engage to advance their knowledge, increase their understanding and connect with fellow learners along the way. With several learning experiences under our belt and more on the way later this year, it’s the perfect time to take a look at the basics of our Hearing First learning experiences and review our organizational learning philosophy.
